What I collect
I collect only the information that helps me respond to inquiries and run the business. That may include your name, email address, phone number, shipping information, build preferences, and any details you choose to share about your playing, prior instruments, or commission ideas.
If you become a client, I may also keep records related to specifications, invoices, payments, shipping, setup preferences, warranty or repair correspondence, and progress updates for your instrument.
How information is collected
Information is collected when you email me, call or text me, place an order, pay an invoice, or otherwise contact me directly. Some basic technical information may also be collected automatically by my hosting or infrastructure providers, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and server logs used for security and site operation.
How I use information
- To respond to inquiries and discuss potential commissions.
- To prepare estimates, specifications, invoices, and delivery arrangements.
- To build, document, service, ship, and support commissioned instruments.
- To maintain private client build pages and send project updates if requested.
- To keep business and tax records, prevent fraud, and protect the site.
How information is shared
I do not sell personal information. I may share information only when needed to operate the business, such as with payment processors, shipping carriers, web hosting providers, email providers, accountants, or legal advisors, and only to the extent reasonably necessary.
I may also disclose information if required by law, to protect my rights, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues.
Private build pages
Commission clients may receive a private build page containing photos, videos, notes, or milestones related to their instrument. Those pages are intended only for the client and anyone the client chooses to share them with. If you ask me to make a build page public, I may do so at your direction.
Cookies and tracking
As of the effective date above, I do not intentionally use advertising trackers or behavioral profiling tools on this site. Basic cookies or similar technologies may still be used if they are required for hosting, security, or core site functionality.
If I later add analytics, a mailing list, or advertising tools, I will update this policy to reflect that change.
Retention
I keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for communication, business records, warranty support, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information I have about you, request corrections, or ask me to delete information that I do not need to keep for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, warranty, or contractual reasons. To make a request, email david@sixsid.es.
Third-party links
This site may link to other websites, including Instagram or other external services. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
