Commission
Every guitar starts with a conversation.
Six Sides builds commissions only. No production runs, no stock. A guitar is a collaborator — the thing a player reaches for when words aren't enough. Building yours well starts with understanding that relationship: how you play, what you play toward, and what it feels like when an instrument gets out of the way and lets you be you.

How it works
- 01 The conversationWrite to david@sixsid.es. Tell me about your playing — the styles, the music, the guitars you've played and what they gave you and where they fell short. Tell me what you reach for that you haven't quite found. The best starting point isn't a spec list; it's an honest description of what happens when you play. If you already have a build in mind, say so.
- 02 The designOnce we decide to work together, we'll build the spec together: body style, tonewoods, scale length, nut width, bracing, finish, and any aesthetic details. Every choice is grounded in your playing — not what looks good in a catalog, but what will let your guitar feel like an extension of how you think and hear.
- 03 The buildA $1,000 deposit holds your slot and starts the build. One builder, one bench — the build takes approximately six months from start to completion. I'll check in at key stages so nothing surprises you at delivery.
- 04 Your build pageEvery commission gets a dedicated page at sixsid.es — photos and videos at key stages of the build. You can opt into email or text updates as milestones happen, or just check in when you feel like it. The page is private by default; if you want to share it publicly, that's your call.
- 05 DeliveryThe remaining balance is due at completion. The guitar ships with a hardshell case and a full setup for the strings and action you specified. If something needs adjustment after the first week of playing, we'll sort it.
